SCHOOL AGE SUMMER CAMPS
Our Summer Camps have been a great success! So far our students have explored Backyard
Habitats, enjoyed Slippery Science, and had Dino-lego Week, and explored Our Great Texas Parks.
Visit our website to see future camps. Tell your friends about our summer fun! Part time
schedules are available.

PRE-K SUMMER PROGRAM
The children have had fun learning about Ocean & Water Safety, Dinosaurs, and Rain
Forest/Safaris. Activities this month will include Farm and Pets, and Castles, Kings, & Queens. At
the end of each subject the classes enjoy a party. For more details about our camps, see our web
site.

SPREAD THE WORD!!
If you have not already heard, we offer an educational program through the 12th grade. Please
spread the good news about the quality education offered at our school. Remember you can find
our current newsletter, menu, school calendar, and information about upcoming events on our web

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION!
To celebrate the 4th all classes will have a patriotic picnic on Monday July 3rd! The students will
enjoy all the fun activities the teachers have planned for this special day.

WARM WEATHER!
Please provide your child with sun screen and mosquito repellant labeled with their name to be left
at school. If you child has a rest blanket at school, you might need to exchange it for a lighter
weight one.

HEALTHY HABITS - Recent studies link regular family dinners with many behaviors that parents
pray for: lower rates of substance abuse, teen pregnancy and depression, as well as higher gradepoint
averages and self-esteem. Studies also indicate that dinner conversation is a more potent
vocabulary-booster than reading, and the stories told around the kitchen table help our children
build resilience. The icing on the cake is that regular family meals also lower the rates of obesity
and eating disorders in children and adolescents. What else can families do that takes only about
an hour a day and packs such a punch?
TAKE HOME ALL COATS. UNCLAIMED JACKETS WILL BE DONATED.

LIVINGSTON MONTESSORI WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY, JULY 4th
IN OBSERVANCE OF INDEPENDENCE DAY
