Easter

We will be having special Easter activities Thursday, April 6^th, for all classes. Please send an Easter basket (labeled with child’s name) and 12 filled plastic eggs (taped shut) to school for an egg hunt. (Suggestions for filling the eggs – small raisin boxes, plastic toys, stickers, etc.)    K- 5^th classes will have a Field Trip to Pedigo Park. More information will be sent home with students.

Summer and Fall Enrollment

We are planning our future classes.  Our returning parents will get the first opportunity to enroll their child.  After April 25^th, enrollment will be open to the public.  Be sure to reserve your space for the Summer and/or Fall program. Enrollment fees are not due at this time. If you have any questions, please call the office.

Why should my child continue with a Montessori education?

In the Montessori environment, the student is presented with endless opportunities to develop academic skills with the aid of self-correcting materials in a prepared setting. Each succeeding year the student can move into more challenging academic areas. In this supportive, exciting environment he or she develops concentration, self-discipline, a sense of order, and persistence in completing a task. Therefore, creative self-expression and love of learning develop. These empowering habits enable our students to excel in life.

Progress Reports

Pre-K progress reports will be emailed to you by April 28^th. (Please make sure we have your current information in the office.) This is a time for the teacher(s) to share with both parents (if possible) their student’s progress and make goals for the future. You will be amazed by how much your child is learning! Contact your child’s teacher if you would like to schedule a conference.

*Livingston Montessori will be closed on Friday, April 7^th for Good Friday
